My Lastest Project

This is my current project I am working on this week called "Cat Lessons for People by Lizzie Kate Designs. My sister gave me this pattern last Christmas. I love it and I am finally working on something for me. I tend to give most of the things I made away to other people as gifts. I changed the cat to match the coloring of my beautiful Persian cat, Beth, who died last year.

                                Completed Christmas Projects for 2011

I am finally able to show the ornaments I created for people in 2011 since they all have them in hand now.  This is the first year I've tried to make ornaments instead of buying them and I loved stitching ornaments and sending love to the people I was making them for one stitch at a time. All patterns are from Just Crossstitch magazine's ornament issues from the last three years.

The first one is the finish of my dragon ornament a mom and its baby that I made for my niece, Kylie, who loves dragons.

The second one is the front and back of one I made for my sister, Brenda, who loves felines! :)

This is the ornament I made for my niece-in-law, Shelly, who loves Starbucks.

This is the ornament I made for my brother-in-law, John. It is hard to see my I got to use Rainbow's fuzzy floss on Santa's hat ball. The snowflake is shiny floss and beards.

This ornament is for my nephew, Brandon. A touch of Christmas humor.

This ornament was for my friend, Deanna, who's first grandchild is the delight of her life.

I gave this one to my personal doctor who does so much for all his patients.

Completed Christmas Gifts 2010

The following two pieces were larger gifts from last Christmas that I thought I would share.

This piece I made for my niece, Kylie. It was actually for her graduation but I ended giving it to her at Christmas when it was finally done. I let her pick the frame. Kylie loves dragons.

This was a Christmas present for my sister, Brenda, who has a large collection of cactus. Brenda picked out the frame and it goes so well with the piece. This was a free pattern from the DMC website. You can see her dog, Chewy, in this picture.
